Cloud Computing

As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner we are able to provide a complete environment for your MultiFreight solutions.

AWS has invested heavily on data centres around the world providing highly secure and resilient environments. We select the nearest global AWS data centre to your organisation.

Our cloud solutions are fully managed by our experienced team and include everything needed for your private virtual environments.

CLOUD is a business strategy that we can help you confirm works for your company.

Cloud computing means you will not need to provide a server for the MultiFreight software solutions, you will only need a reasonable internet connection and a laptop or pc.

More details on our cloud services

  • Pay-as-you-go model
  • Scale and adapt
  • Enterprise resiliency

We have designed two offerings utilising cloud computing;

Cloud SaaS - Software as a Service

This option provides our solutions as a complete software as a service (SaaS) wrapped up in a monthly charge per user.

This option is very popular with companies who prefer rental/opex purchases and also want the flexibility of increasing and decreasing users each month.

Cloud Hosted PaaS - Platform as a Service

This option is for customers who have or wish to acquire on a perpetual license model and do not have or do not wish to invest in the required infrastructure.

This option has been very popular with companies with aged infrastructure or as a stop gap so not to extend go live dates.

Perpetual Licensing

Software was traditionally purchased as a right to use the license, and usually accompanied with an annual charge for support and maintenance which entitles you to upgrades and updates to the software.

Perpetual solutions can be implemented on premise where you will require your own server or in our cloud hosting environment.

On-Premise (Local Server)

On-premises software (sometimes abbreviated as "on-prem" software) is where utilise your existing servers (if compatible) and install the software solutions locally.

In these circumstances it is the customer’s responsibility to meet the supported technical requirements and manage the on site hardware.

We will work with the customers IT representatives to ensure a smooth implementation.

For further details on the supported infrastructure please contact us.

Subscription

Subscription Licensing or SaaS (software as a service) is a rental of the software on a set term and includes the support and maintenance for the same period.

Subscription solutions are mainly deployed in the cloud but can also be used on a local on premise implementation.
