It is unlikely that you will find another supplier of logistics software or freight forwarding systems who understands the shipping and freight forwarding world quite like SCS does. Many of our staff are shipping and freight professionals and have worked in the industry for many years. They know the business because they understand freight forwarding from the inside.
Our first ever freight forwarding software was written in 1980, and for over a quarter of a century we have been continually developing and improving the functionality to provide software solutions specifically for the industry. As a Progress ‘Preferred Partner’ we choose to develop our products using Progress tools, because this technology allows us to modify software within our products quickly and cost-effectively. This means we can support the business requirements of our customers and react to industry changes. Many of our customers are UK-based small to medium-sized freight forwarders. We also supply systems to much larger and multi-national operators. Some of the larger systems we provide, install and support have around 200 users. Our customers tell us that the support we offer them when they are installing a MultiFreight system and the ongoing support for our product is what differentiates us from other suppliers. It is not just MultiFreight’s functionality that makes it the best investment for our customers, but the after care and service they receive. Our success depends on us giving our customers what they expect, both in terms of products and service. Without guidance from our customers or help from our business partners MultiFreight would not be the robust, sophisticated and flexible system that it is today.
